It's Gonna be OK

So the weekend has come and gone, and you chose to disregard my post about minimizing the damage. (Feel free to reread that one this coming Friday.) It's OK, these things happen. You went out, you drank a bunch, you ate a bunch, and you didn't exercise.  Well guess what? I don't hate you, and you need to not hate yourself.  Get over it, let it go, sometimes we need weekends like that....... BUT now let's get back on track.  Monday can be a really tough day, but its a tone setter for the week.  So here's what you need to do.

1. Plan your meals for the day/week

2. Pick out your workout outfit

3. WORKOUT!

You haven't done anything that can't be undone.  You have committed no crime.  Its just that simple, and at some point before this coming Friday plan something active for the approaching weekend. Spring is here and it's pretty nice out, and it's going to stay nice out for many months in a row.  So again, let's plan something active, a walk or run with a friend, or your pet dog, or cat (yes they make cat collars) or kangaroo, or just by yourself with your new running mix blasting through your headphones.  You could also plan an even less formal activity, you could go for a hike, go to a park and play catch or throw a Frisbee, try your hand at tennis, whatever.  Just do something, you'll feel better about it afterwords, and you'll feel better about it starting the next week.  You will also be making strides towards achieving your goals.

  2. Question... does playing Oakies count as activity?
