Hey everyone check out this link, it should be a reminder to us all that we were not genetically programmed to be "sitters". Through evolution we were made to be hunters, gatherers, and fit to either fight, or run for our lives.

I work ten and a half hours a day as a medical coder and my work station is not set up for me to stand and be productive at the same time. What can I do to counteract the side effects of my job? I like what I do, I don't want to get a new job.
ReplyDeleteTry to build in times during your day when you get up, either going for a short walk, getting water, just standing and moving for a few minutes. Make it happen!
