This generally gets people to start thinking about their fitness and appearance. Well, if you're just starting to try to make changes here, are a few easy tips to follow.
- Drink two big glasses of water right away when you wake up in the morning. This rehydrates you from all the water you lost while sleeping, as well as kick-starts your metabolism.
- Instead of snacking on not-so-healthy choices such as Easter candy, try nuts. Almonds and cashews are good, but limit yourself to 15 at a time and about 30 a day: they are high in fat. (It's good fat, but fat nonetheless.) They are filling and delicious.
- Take the stairs. We all make decisions everyday that could benefit us. Instead of the elevator or escalator, take the stairs, or park a little farther away from the store you are about to go into. Little choices like these can add up.
